Latchmere Teaching School Alliance is now recruiting for Specialist Leaders of Education. SLEs are outstanding middle and senior leaders who have the skills to support individuals or teams in similar positions in other schools. The main role of an SLE is to develop the leadership capacity of others, using coaching or facilitation support that draws on their knowledge and expertise. The deadline for applications is 23rd October and applications should be sent to email@example.com
As a teaching school, we have identified priorities within our alliance and therefore, we would like to recruit an SLE with a specialism for maths in secondary education. You must also have at least one specialism in the following areas: leadership and management; pupil achievement; quality of teaching or behaviour and safety.
To become an SLE, you need to have been in a leadership role for at least two years and your headteacher must agree that you may be deployed through the teaching school.
